3. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the Portland Metro area, including Vancouver, WA, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Limit one (1) entry per person / per household for the duration of the entry period. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or household members of 24 Hour Lock and Key LLC are not eligible. Entrant must own or have legal authority over the residential property where hardware would be installed if selected as winner.
4. Entry Period
Entries open Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 12:00 AM local time and close Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM local time (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period will not be counted.
5. How to Enter — No Purchase Necessary
To enter, complete the official entry form linked from our website. No purchase, payment, or order of any kind is required to enter or to win. Submitting an entry does not require, and is not conditioned upon, hiring 24 Hour Lock and Key LLC for any paid service.
6. Prize
One (1) winner will receive: professional installation of new residential locking hardware (deadbolts and/or smart locks) on up to five (5) doors at winner's residence, including both hardware and labor, with a total combined Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of $1,000 USD (the "Prize"). Eligible hardware brands: Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, and Lockly. Winner may select hardware from these brands, subject to standard in-stock models and Sponsor's professional installation recommendations. Prize value is capped at $1,000 ARV total (hardware plus labor combined); any amount exceeding $1,000 is the winner's sole financial responsibility. Prize does not include new door installation, framing/carpentry work, electrical/smart-home wiring beyond standard battery-powered smart lock setup, commercial property installation, or repair unrelated to lock hardware installation. No cash alternative. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.
7. Winner Selection & Odds
One winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about Friday, July 10, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact information provided at entry, within five (5) business days of the drawing. Winner must respond and confirm within seven (7) calendar days of first notification attempt, or an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing from remaining eligible entries.
9. Scheduling & Fulfillment
Installation will be scheduled directly with the winner at a mutually agreeable date within a reasonable service window following confirmation, subject to hardware availability and normal service area coverage.
10. General Conditions
By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final in all matters relating to this promotion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or garbled entries, or for technical failures of any kind. Winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize. Prizes valued at $600 or more will be reported to the IRS, and Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner as required by law. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any website, app, or social media platform used to share or promote it, including Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, or Google.
11. Publicity
Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, city/state of residence, and likeness for promotional purposes related to this giveaway, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
